When playing for the Cloggies, the
Band is easily recognised by the trademark Waistcoats & Top Hats trimmed
in Cloggies' colours: occasionally assisted by one of
the dancers playing the bass drum and trying to keep the musicians in
check Some of the musicians & dancers
are also members of The Hat Band, a Poole-based group with its own callers
that specialises in Barn Dances & Ceilidhs for all occasions and
guarantees a fun evening. Away from the strict tempo of North West
Dancing, the Band's music is vigorous and occasionally a bit anarchic!!

Although the Hat Band is steadily
becoming established in its own right, it's links with The Quayside
Cloggies are strong and to emphasise this connection, the Band's Logo is a
Cloggies' style Top Hat.
