





The Band at BBC Music Live Poole Park For the Queens Golden Jubilee celebrations

The sides Musicians accompany the stepping with a variety of instruments including accordion, trombone, melodeon, violin and whistle and most importantly a big drum to keep the beat. They play traditional British tunes which would have been popular when the steps were being originally danced.

Away from the strict tempo of North West Dancing, the Band's music is vigorous and occasionally a bit anarchic!!
