WHAT WE DANCE
   
The team generally adopt several dances that are practiced during the winter and then performed within our Summer Programme or at private bookings. The dances for this year and their origins as far as we know them are listed below.

WALTON'S PARADE Wavers Dance compose by Ed Sanders of Leyland Morris for the 1986 Whitby Folk Week
TAMWORTH Wavers Adapted from a dance by Kate Rose in 1994.
LOSTOCK Hoops Lostock Hall. Lancashire. adaptation of Trefor Owen's dance.
BLUES AND PINKS Hoops An adaptation from The Scarlet and Blues written by Kate Rose.
HARTSHEAD Slings As danced by Hartshead Morris a NW side from Leeds.
